Communion - VR Game Prototype

This is an unfinished VR game prototype in which you awaken in a basement with a pentagram scrawled on the floor and, with the help of a priest on the other side of a locked door, must perform an exorcism to escape. It's a puzzle-based adventure with a mystery-horror theme that runs, real-time, in Unreal Engine 4. It was created by six artists and three coders as a part of a Games Design MA.


I was responsible for the level design, including all the puzzles, and co-responsible for the narrative design, including a lot of written materials that didn't make it into the final game. I also modelled and UV mapped several props. The project was stopped short due to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
